1. General

By booking any service through GironaMTB, the client agrees to these Terms & Conditions.

GironaMTB offers cycling experiences, guided services, self-guided products, travel planning assistance, and related cycling services in Girona and surrounding areas.

2. Bookings and Payment

All bookings are subject to availability.

A reservation is only considered confirmed once payment has been received and written confirmation has been issued by GironaMTB.

Prices are displayed in Euros (€) unless otherwise stated.

3. Third-Party Services

Some services included in a GironaMTB booking may be provided by independent third-party partners, including bicycle rental companies, accommodation providers, transfer services, guides, or activity operators.

While GironaMTB carefully selects its partners, certain operational aspects of these services may be subject to the partner’s own terms, conditions, policies, and requirements.

GironaMTB will communicate any relevant partner requirements before the service is delivered whenever applicable.

4. Bicycle Rentals

Where bicycles are supplied by a third-party rental partner, the conditions established by that provider shall apply regarding bicycle use, deposits, identification requirements, damage, theft, insurance, permitted riding areas, and liability.

Clients may be required to sign additional documentation directly with the rental provider before receiving the bicycle.

Failure to comply with the rental provider’s conditions may result in the refusal or cancellation of the bicycle rental service.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation and refund conditions are detailed in the Cancellation Policy.

Where third-party services are involved, specific supplier cancellation policies may also apply.

6. Client Responsibility

Clients are responsible for ensuring that they are physically capable of participating in the booked activity.

Clients must follow all safety instructions provided by GironaMTB, guides, rental providers, accommodation providers, or other partners involved in the experience.

Clients are responsible for any damage, loss, or additional costs arising from their own negligence, misconduct, or failure to follow instructions.

7. Safety and Risk Acknowledgement

Mountain biking and outdoor activities involve inherent risks, including the risk of injury, accident, property damage, or unforeseen events.

By participating in any activity booked through GironaMTB, clients acknowledge and voluntarily accept these risks.

Participation is undertaken at the client’s own risk.

8. Insurance

GironaMTB strongly recommends that all clients hold appropriate travel, medical, accident, and personal liability insurance covering the activities booked.

Unless explicitly stated, GironaMTB does not provide personal accident insurance.

9. Limitation of Liability

GironaMTB will take reasonable care in organising and delivering its services.

However, GironaMTB shall not be liable for delays, interruptions, modifications, or cancellations caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including adverse weather conditions, natural events, transport disruptions, government restrictions, or actions of third-party suppliers.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes liability where such exclusion is prohibited by applicable law.

10. Digital Products

Digital guides and downloadable products are provided for personal use only.

They may not be copied, reproduced, redistributed, resold, or shared without prior written permission from GironaMTB.

11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Spanish law.

Any disputes arising from the use of GironaMTB services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Girona, Spain.
