Cancellation Policy
At GironaMTB, we understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair while balancing the commitments required to organise cycling experiences and third-party services.
1. Digital Products
All digital products, including downloadable guides, route packs, and other digital content, are non-refundable once purchased.
2. Experiences and Private Bookings
The following cancellation policy applies to private experiences, custom itineraries, guided services, Tribe events, corporate bookings, and other experiences organised by GironaMTB.
More than 60 days before the scheduled start date
100% refund.
Between 31 and 60 days before the scheduled start date
50% refund.
30 days or less before the scheduled start date
No refund.
3. Third-Party Services
Some experiences may include services provided by third-party partners, including bicycle rentals, accommodation, transfers, guides, or activity providers.
Where third-party services are included, specific supplier cancellation policies may apply. Any non-refundable costs already committed to third-party providers may be deducted from the refund amount.
4. Cancellations by GironaMTB
In rare circumstances, GironaMTB reserves the right to cancel or modify a booking due to reasons beyond our reasonable control. This may include, but is not limited to, extreme weather conditions, safety concerns, natural events, or operational issues affecting partners or service providers.
In such cases, we will offer one of the following options, depending on the situation:
- Rescheduling the experience to an alternative date
- Providing a credit for future use
- Issuing a full or partial refund where appropriate
5. Rescheduling
Requests to reschedule must be submitted in writing by email.
We will do our best to accommodate alternative dates, subject to availability and any commitments already made with third-party suppliers.
6. Illness or Injury
If a participant is unable to attend due to illness or injury, please contact us as soon as possible.
Requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Where possible, GironaMTB may offer a booking credit or rescheduling option.
We strongly recommend that clients have appropriate travel and cancellation insurance covering these situations.
7. Cancellation Requests
All cancellation and rescheduling requests must be submitted in writing via email.
The date on which the email is received will be considered the official cancellation date.
